In Sanskrit, Sattva is defined as balanced, harmonious, holistic, positive, and of high quality. Our mission is to provide high quality and individualized healthcare with compassion to each of our patients. We utilize aspects of both western and alternative medicine to support our patients.

Our Functional Medicine Approach
The Functional Medicine model is an individualized, patient-centered, science-based approach that empowers patients and practitioners to work together to address the underlying causes of disease and promote optimal wellness. It requires a detailed understanding of each patient’s genetic, biochemical, and lifestyle factors and leverages that data to direct personalized treatment plans that lead to improved patient outcomes.
By addressing root cause(s), rather than symptoms, practitioners become oriented to identifying the complexity of disease. They may find one condition has many different causes and, likewise, one cause may result in many different conditions. Functional Medicine treatment targets the specific manifestations of disease in each individual.
Our Philosophy
From the moment you walk through our doors—whether cradling your newborn, guiding your curious toddler, navigating the teenage years, balancing the demands of adulthood, or embracing the wisdom of great-grandparenthood—I want you to know this: you are deeply seen, heard, and cared for here.
You may have been searching for answers, feeling unheard, frustrated by quick fixes and band-aid solutions. You’re not alone. And you don’t have to do this alone anymore.
From a baby’s first breath to the golden years of life, I believe in the power of whole-person care at every stage. I see the new parent, exhausted yet full of love, wondering if their baby’s colic or eczema is something more. I see the energetic child struggling with focus, the teen dealing with hormone changes, and the adult feeling drained and overwhelmed. I see the grandparents who want to stay strong and active, keeping up with the little ones who call them “Grandma” or “Grandpa.”
You all matter here. Every symptom, every struggle, every little thing that doesn’t feel “quite right” is a clue—not just something to medicate, but something to understand. Together, we will dig deep to uncover the root causes, because you deserve more than quick fixes—you deserve lasting health.
This journey isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress. It’s about small but powerful shifts that bring you back to vitality. Whether it’s calming a baby’s tummy troubles, supporting a teen’s mental clarity, balancing hormones, reducing inflammation, or keeping joints strong and minds sharp in later years, we will take the steps together. And when challenges come (because they will), know that you are supported, encouraged, and never judged.
You are not just a patient—you are part of a family here. A family that celebrates your victories, big and small. A family that believes in your ability to heal. A family that wants you and your loved ones to wake up every day feeling strong, energized, and fully alive.
So, if you are ready—truly ready—to take control of your health, to ask questions, to make changes, and to invest in yourself and your family, then welcome. You belong here. And I am honored to be a part of your journey.

Sattva Family Healthcare supports an NGO in Guatemala Funda Maya
Funda Maya is a charity in Guatemala near and dear to Su's heart. The organization aims to educate, feed, shelter, and heal residents of impoverished areas.
If you would like to donate or get involved, please visit Funda Maya. Each year, Su leads a small group of volunteers to support Funda Maya’s ongoing efforts. Sattva hosts an annual International Potluck, bringing the community together to share food, support artisans, and engage in global outreach. Attendees can purchase handmade items, explore sponsorship opportunities, and learn about volunteering abroad. The event also features a silent auction of goods and services, with all proceeds funding food baskets for preschool children in need of sponsors.
